Course Manager

We are looking for an ambitious Course Manager and they should have the desire and ambition to help drive through these changes, whilst maintaining the course to the highest standards for our members and guests.

To be considered for the role the applicant should have the following:

·        NVQ Level 3 in Greenkeeping or equivalent (essential)

·        PA1, 2 and 6a spraying certificates (essential)

·        Relevant IT Skills (essential)

  • Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation (essential)

·        Current UK driving license (essential)

·        Project Management skills (preferred)

·        Construction experience (preferred)

·        Irrigation experience including repair and maintenance (preferred)

·     CS 30 and 31 chainsaw certificates (desirable)

·    Good working knowledge of fine turf machinery (desirable)

Seasonal Assistant Greenkeeper

Fulwell Golf Club is a parkland course of 6,475 yards, par 71, based in Hampton near Twickenham.

Greenkeeping Experience is not necessary for the position but an interest in golf is desired but not essential. Full uniform, PPE and training will be provided.

We are looking for someone with a good working ethic and who is keen to learn.

Job Description

Purpose Statement

        To carry out routine golf course maintenance tasks
as directed by the Course Manager and Deputy Course Manager, in accordance
with the Club’s Golf Course Policy Document and its Health and Safety Policy.


        Perform all greenkeeping tasks to a high standard
as instructed.

        Keep working areas tidy.

        Cleaning machinery after use.

        Report any faults or issues to senior members of

       Ensure pre-start checks are carried out.

       Return tools to where and how you found them.


       To adhere
to all H&S Policies

for own and others Health and Safety at work

       Understand Risk Assessments

       Follow Operational Procedures

      Regular Communication via Radio

Essential Skills

      Ability to be a quick learner

       Team player

The role is manual and will involve tasks such as, grass cutting, bunker raking, divoting, blowing and strimming.

Basic hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional paid overtime when required and weekend work on a rota basis. Hourly wage is negotiable upon application and experience.
