Membership Overview

Members at Fulwell Golf Club enjoy a full programme of golf, with fixtures against local clubs, competitions (both individual and team) throughout the year.

There is always something to suit your handicap, age and golfing desire and at Fulwell you will certainly not be short of playing opportunities.

There are roll-ups Monday - Thursday at various times and Fulwell also uses an all-inclusive online booking system ensuring you will never go without a game.

Although being competitive is important to maintain a handicap, a balance of all good things are required, which is why we provide regular social golf where the chance to play with other members and enjoy après-golf.

The men’s section at Fulwell Golf Club is one of the friendliest around, and many members have a keen interest in competitive golf.

Regular weekly competitions are held together with monthly midweek medals and Stablefords, There are also Stablefords and club competitions played at the weekend throughout the year. The annual knockout trophies take place in the summer months with plenty of competitors vying for a place on the club honours boards. We participate in a number of regular friendly matches against local clubs as well as County Competitions, making sure that the thirst for competitive golf is also met.

The ladies’ section is lively and welcoming and caters for all standards of golfers. A friendly environment and social calendar exists to ensure Ladies of all abilities become integrated.

Regular competitions are staged both midweek and at the weekend as well as club knockouts and friendly matches against surrounding clubs.

There are allocated tee times on Tuesday mornings for ladies.

Fulwell has a thriving mixed golf calendar of events with matches against local clubs and a regular midweek 9 hole competition which runs during the summer.

There are also knockouts which run throughout the season and also in the winter months to keep your game in excellent shape.

The seniors are a thriving part of Fulwell Golf Club with over 200 members.

The seniors’ golfing calendar is filled with regular matches, where the chance to socialise and catch up with old friends is as eagerly anticipated as the opportunity to play golf itself.

The club’s senior section is truly one of the strongest in the area, providing plenty of opportunities to get involved with social events throughout the year as well.

We recognise the importance of building an active junior section which is welcoming, fun, safe and encouraging.

The Golf Club has worked hard to improve policies and procedures, developing a sound structure for the future. Juniors are trained in a game that will teach them respect, social and life skills, discipline and honesty.

The Professional’s team offer several junior coaching options, group sessions are run through the year with one off taster sessions in school holidays. From beginner to low handicap, all players can have individual lessons with clubs provided and programmes personalised so you can achieve your goals.
